Assistant Manager - Controllership

Education: CA Intermediate, Cost Accountant, Post Graduate in Finance

Responsibilities:

- As an Assistant Manager, the person will be responsible for efficient and accurate handling of revenue, invoicing, collections and receivable accounting with complete control over reporting of financial and non-financial metrics within the SOX compliance framework.

- Responsible for timely closure of books for the month end with a comprehensive approach for accuracy & completeness of the financials

- Ensuring accuracy of numbers concerning accounting and analysis

- Responsible for timely closure of books for the month end with a comprehensive approach for accuracy & completeness of the financials

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the function to enhance efficiency and accuracy using RPA and other tech enablers

- Should be able to work with a large volume of data and in an evolving environment.

What you'll need:

- 3 to 4 years of post-qualification work experience

- Hands-on exp in a controllership role (GL/ Account receivable/ Consolidation/ Statutory audit)

- Good to have experience in Power BI, Oracle, SQL, Qlikview, Alteryx etc

- The knowledge of applicable taxes & GST compliances on revenue & receivable

- Deep understanding of accounting, finance, and business

- Capable of handling multiple projects at a time

- Exceptional communicator and Lucid thinker

- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
