Position Summary :
Mercer is seeking a full-time Editor with exceptional writing skills and judgment who will work with the Investment Consulting team at GOSS (Noida) in enhancing the quality of the written deliverables for publications and external Mercer clients which shall include making substantive edits to content for clarity, grammar, in-house style and general tone as per British, American and Canadian English.
Essential Job Responsibilities :
Responsibility :
- Ability to understand, simplify and explain complex written commentaries/research from a financial/investment standpoint. Key assignments include Manager Research note - Abridged and comprehensive, Executive Summary and Recommendations for pension plans and Request for Proposals
- Writing, re-writing, restructuring the outputs to make the language suitable from an investment standpoint while adhering to Client high editorial and ethical standards, adhering to style, guidelines and policies and ensuring that reports/deliverables have the context, balance, structure, narrative flow, sourcing and clarity that clients need .Review reports as per British, American and Canadian English
- Take initiative and collaborate with the team of investment consultants to publish thought leadership pieces and insights reports on the investment industry to enhance the intellectual capital base ofClient

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities :
- Indicate the education level, previous experience, specific knowledge, skills and abilities required to meet minimum requirements for this position.
Education :
- MBA Finance/English Degree (BA, MA) with sound knowledge in investments/Masters in Economics Degree/CFA Preferred who has had relevant experience in content writing.
- Graduate/Post-graduate with at least four years of experience editing investment research reports and proficient in American, British and Canadian English.
Experience : 4 to 8 years
Knowledge and skills (general and technical) :
- Knowledge of Wealth Management and Investment Management terminologies and concepts (equity, fixed income, alternatives and other asset classes)
- Basic understanding of the macro-economic topics
- Exposure to working with clients outside India
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and excellent editing, proofreading and formatting skills in MS Word and PowerPoint
- Other requirements (licenses, certifications, specialized training)
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple requests simultaneously
