Assistant Manager - Capex Procurement
Job Requirements :
- Diploma / B.E / B. Tech (Mechanical/Electrical)
- 8 to 10 Years in Procurement / Sourcing
- The incumbent shall be part of corporate procurement team based at head office and shall work closely with Plant Team, Finance, Operations, Logistics and Indirect Taxation teams.
- Candidate is expected to have knowledge on all mechanical, electrical, utilities, spares and consumables which shall be part of daily routine industrial purchases.
- Should handle routine revenue spares & consumables and capex requirements like compressors, HVAC, packages like complete equipment, plants, set up etc. across PAN India plants
- Perform technical assessments and develop validation strategies of requirements
- Strategic sourcing, supplier discovery, techno-commercial evaluations
- Knowledge on Bottom up Costing & Total Cost of Ownership
- Cater negotiations basis value of the requirements under the guidance of Purchase head
- Plan for auctions for the high value materials & feasible packages
- Work closely with stake holders like plant engineering team, stores & plant purchase
- Ensure Risk management, On Time Delivery, meet Project timelines
- Supplier Life Cycle Management
- Supplier visits, evaluation, on boarding, monitoring etc.
- Prepare MIS, dashboards of the purchase metrics

- Good organizational and people management skills
Software Exposure :
- Microsoft Excel, Power point, SAP MM, SAP Ariba
