Assistant Manager - Buyer/Procurement - Indirect Spend - IT

This role is for a leading MNC IT firm in Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

- Developing vendor management programs including contract negotiation & performance monitoring for local/overseas vendors

- Creating procurement strategies and implementing best practices in the category management function

- Managing supplier/vendor relationships

- Driving spend compliance, managing the whole supply chain process

Key Requirements

- 4-8 years of experience in strategic sourcing, indirect spend (e.g IT hardware/software, legal, HR services) in a global environment (buying for India and other countries as assigned)

- Strong communication skills

- Must have strong technical, strategic and project management skills
