Assistant Manager - Business Finance/Financial Planning & Analysis (4-7 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Partner with G&A/R&D organizations to manage budgets, forecasts, reports, and analysis.

- Manage headcount and expense forecasts.

- Run month-end close with accounting.

- Forecast financial results and explain levers to any variances from Budget/expectation.

- Improve financial processes and implement system improvements to support hyper-growth at scale.

- Prepare management reporting, KPIs, Dashboards which are accurate, timely, and consistent.

- Keenly follow the competitive landscape and feed management with relevant intelligence.

- Improve forecast accuracy and develop recommendations based upon an understanding

- Work and build relationships with important partners across G&A and R&D organizations, finance and accounting teams to improve important insights

Requirements :

- Total 4 to 6 years of experience including at least 2 to 3 years of "front-end" Investment Banking, or Management Consulting experience with a focus on technology; familiarity with the software industry and SaaS business models

- Individuals who have worked on IPO, M&A, Fundraising deals with Software Development/Technology/Fintech companies would be a great fit.

- Individuals from the Management Consulting role (solving problems, improving business performance, creating value, and maximizing growth) are also preferred.

- Extremely detail-oriented with an ability to multitask across Project.

- Strong Financial modeling skills and quantitative analysis experience .

- Expert in Advance Excel and Google Sheets; can maintain complex spreadsheets, comfortable with different modeling techniques and shortcuts.

- Entrepreneurial with the ability to contribute your own ideas and work autonomously.

- Strong performer under pressure, with tight timelines, shifting priorities.

- Will be required to support in EMEA shift (1 PM to 10 PM IST).

Value add :

- Experience with Power BI, SQL, and Tableau, or a willingness to learn is a major plus.

- Understanding of GAAP and non-GAAP financial metrics.
