Assistant Manager - Audit - CA - Consulting

One of our client is looking for Asst. Manager -Audit. The position is based out of Mumbai. The candidate should have a thorough experience in Statutory and Tax Audits. The brief JD is given below:

Job Description

The incumbent shall be responsible for the below:

- Planning and finalisation of statutory audit assignments (including group reporting) independently

- Function as a SPOC for the client and interact with clients and their overseas counterparts wherever required

- Ownership of clients like CSS, billing, recovery, etc.

- Co-ordination with various internal teams for assignments

- Provide training to the team, ensure optimum delivery, delegation of tasks & team management

- Conduct and participate in research related activities

- Flexible to work on non standard assurance engagements

Desired Candidate Profile:

The following experience & skill sets are desired in an applicant:

- Chartered Accountant with 3+ years- post qualification experience

- Expert knowledge of business processes, accounting, reporting and audit methodology

- Expert knowledge and application of accounting standards and SA's under Indian GAAP

- Awareness of reporting under IFRS and other GAAPs as may be required for the group reporting for various entities.

- Capable of spotting the issues and providing the options for solutions

- Awareness of direct and indirect taxes and corporate laws

- Excellent team management and client handling experience

- Strong analytical skills

- Self starter with a strong work ethic

- Exposure to ERP environment (Tally, SAP, JDE, etc.)
