1. Assist AD/ Partner in audit planning, assess risk and develops audit direction.
2. Perform preliminary planning and establishes direction for audits, provides leadership to assigned auditors (Junior members. Articles), manage project to quality outcomes, while meeting established/agreed timelines. Take full ownership of the audit engagement from planning to reporting.
3. Perform audit work for critical areas, including plan preparation, review work papers, findings, and associated reports; verify the accuracy of financial records/ work paper.
4. Review work performed by team, Manage performance of audit assignments, reviews work papers and audit reports; edits reports prepared by Junior members. Articles, other auditors.
5. Coordinates and interacts with Client, Partner, and staff, for audit planning, escalation, in consultation with Partner. Review of report with Partner and closes all open points.
6. Trains/ coach new articles, staff, as needed.
7. Keeps abreast of ASA Audit Manual and related guidelines, checklists, current developments in accounting, auditing professions, and changes in regulatory laws, as applicable.
8. Develops and provides training to Articles, staff, and clients on need basis.
9. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned such as AUP, Policies, IFC Audits, FA & Inventory verification.
10. Timely update Partner on the status of ongoing assignments, request Partner for escalation, if required
11.Review the work papers of Juniors, Article, and other staff. Ensure all the work is carried out as per Audit Manual, Firms practices, and other guidelines.
12. Visit to client place with-in city/ outside the city, as required.
13. Manage multiple audit assignments, draft audit report, Executive Summary to audit committee and other reports.
