Title - Assistant Actuarial Manager, Life Actuarial & Analytics Enablement

Job Location - Bangalore, India & Gurgaon, India.

Must Have - Work Experience on GGY AXIS, US GAAP, IFRS17 / IFRS, Life Insurance, Pricing

Min. Exp. - 4 Years

Role and Responsibilities:

- The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of delivering complex research projects and have a strong background in using programming languages for delivering actuarial projects.

- In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in various research projects in Life insurance actuarial arena using programming languages and quantitative methods.

- This role is responsible for working in Life team of A&A, that works on developing life insurance products, developing pricing basis, creating profit test models, cashflow modelling, valuation models, asset liability management, solvency reporting, GAAP reporting, SCR/MCR calculations and optimization, EV/MCEV calculations etc.

Experience & Qualifications:

- Graduates or post-graduates in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance

- 5 years+ of Life Re/insurance industry experience with pricing experience preferable.

- Actuarial exams are plus but not essential

- In-depth hands-on experience on GGY AXIS tools, good modelling skills

- Should have capability to build, run models and debug any errors

- Should be skilled in setting assumptions, working with accelerated underwriting and working with generalized linear models.

- Proficient in excel and experience of using statistical programming in Python or R for Life insurance actuarial projects will be an advantage

- Capable to perform research, keeping up with industry trends, sources, and methods

- Willing to explore new, and upcoming products and trends

- Experience in core actuarial activities like appraisal valuation, embedded value, pricing, product development, statutory reporting, economic capital, Solvency requirements calculations, IFRS17, actuarial model development will be an advantage

- Able to work independently, by taking ownership of the projects assigned

- Good written and verbal communication, and a team player
