Job Title: Assistant Manager - Accounts
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our team as an Assistant Manager of accounts. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience, with a strong foundation in financial management and accounting principles. The candidate should also possess in-depth knowledge of SAP and INDAS (Indian Accounting Standards).
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with INDAS.
- Generate timely and accurate financial reports for management review.
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor variances between actual results and budgeted/forecasted figures.
- Provide insights and recommendations for budget optimization.
Compliance:
- Stay updated on relevant accounting standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of statutory returns.
- Facilitate internal and external audits.
SAP Expertise:
- Utilize SAP for day-to-day accounting activities and financial transactions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any SAP-related issues.
- Train and support team members in SAP usage.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in financial and accounting procedures.
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and other departments.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
Qualifications:
- A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial management.
- Strong knowledge of INDAS (Indian Accounting Standards).
- Proficiency in using SAP for financial transactions and reporting.
Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
