Assistant Manager - Accounts - NBFC - CA

We are looking for an Assistant Manager Accounts with a focus on financial and loan accounting to join our client, a reputable NBFC, in Delhi.

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of their accounts department by handling a variety of financial tasks specific to loan processing and management. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records related to loans, managing accounts receivable and payable associated with loans, and assisting with the preparation of financial reports.

Responsibilities:

- Process financial transactions related to loan origination, disbursement, repayment, and closure.

- Maintain accurate loan accounting records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

- Reconcile bank statements and loan accounts.

- Prepare and analyze financial reports related to loan performance.

- Maintain a strong understanding of financial accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS) and loan accounting standards.

- Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting software and technologies specific to loan accounting.

- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial matters related to loans.

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities for the loan portfolio (if applicable).

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- CA (Chartered Accountant) certification.

- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in an accounting role with a focus on financial and/or loan accounting, preferably within the NBFC's.

- Strong understanding of loan accounting principles and practices.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary:

Competitive salary range of - 8 Lakhs to - 12 Lakhs per annum commensurate with experience and qualifications.
