The Assistant Manager (Academic Affairs) will play a key role in the overall management of the academic talent at LINC. The role will be key to making the core academic operations ready for the next phase of growth.

Assistant Manager -Academic Affairs: Role Definition

LINC Education is seeking young and talented academic professionals from top tier colleges and universities in India to manage the development and delivery of academic services to global universities. The Assistant Manager - Academic Affairs will work with the Lead - Academic Affairs primarily on designing and implementing the training plans, content and delivery, and managing quality of academic delivery. He / she will also be involved in working with the recruitment and academic engagement teams to support the relationship building with LINC Fellows. The role will provide a balance of academic excellence and practical business experience.

The Assistant Manager - Academic Affairs will work with the academic affairs team and cover the following key areas:

1. Support the design, development and delivery of LINC Fellow orientation and training (including in-person delivery and simulations)

2. Develop and manage LINC Fellow induction plans and process

3. Support the deployment of LINC Fellows on teaching assignment with university partners by positioning them appropriately to universities and developing the CVs / case for their staffing

4. Design and execute the Academic Quality Assurance process for university partners.

5. Provide mentorship and coaching support to the pool of LINC Fellows deployed on a live unit with a university partner

6. Support the LINC Fellow recruitment process by exploring sourcing options and participating in the recruitment process

7. Assist the LINC Fellow engagement activities to keep them fully committed to LINC and their role.

The role will report to Lead - Academic Affairs.

Who are we looking for?

1. Qualification: PhD / nearing completion of PhD (submitted thesis for external evaluation) in a management-studies related discipline / MBA from a top tier university/college (IIMs, XLRI, FMS, MDI, NMIMS preferred)

2. Experience: 1-3 years of full-time or part-time teaching experience and/or corporate experience will be preferred. For MBA candidates, 2+ years of teaching experience and / or corporate training experience is a MUST

3. Smarts: the Demonstrated track record of relationship management along with great spoken and written communication skills. Being structured and able to multitask is a must

4. Drive: An ambition to significantly enhance your skills and experiences, and be driven by the prospect of building a great academic team. It is important that you are able to work in a fast-paced environment and help grow the business.
