Assistant General Manager - Taxation - BFSI

- Ensure Direct and Indirect tax compliances, filings, reporting and returns (Income Tax, TDS, GST etc) are completed in a timely and efficient manner

- Maintain all records, accounting, filing/interacting with Tax Departments, liaise with authorities and consultants to facilitate operations by smooth tax management

- Manage claims, demands, appeals and other issues raised by Tax Authorities, review orders received, submit rectification application, file appeal and represent before Authorities/ Tribunal etc

- Managing litigation and ensure minimum litigation by timely dispute resolution, up to date completion of assessment /appeals, refunds and submissions

- Tax planning on new business initiatives, Transaction advisory and structuring for most optimal solution including day to day transactions to optimise tax outflow maintaining high standard of compliance
