Job Description: AGM Sales Location: Jharkhand Role Brief: - The Role Brief for the AGM Sales position entails a diverse range of responsibilities and leadership roles within the Company - Enterprise business based in Ranchi. He Will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in all aspects of Sales and business fundamentals, Sales operations, Go to Market, Direct Marketing Operations in the assigned Zone to achieve the business objectives. - This would include sales, process improvement, network, large team Management and network management, Sales commercials, and recovery. Moreover, the candidate would be supported by the multifunctional team (logistics, finance, HR & IT) to fulfil companies' objectives. The candidate will be entrusted with the following key areas: Sales Management: - Will be responsible for driving and strategizing the sales activities of the company's business in Jharkhand. This includes setting sales targets, identifying potential growth opportunities, market expansion and devising sales strategies to achieve revenue objectives. - Manage business integration process for new clients (principals) to ensure smooth client integration. - Also leading a large sales organization of over 160 people. Work closely with Sales Manager, Business executives and Channel executives to ensure achievement of desired distribution, visibility objectives & speed to shelf. Identify and work with the Sales & Operations Team to develop strong Sub distributor network in Rural Zone. - Be an expert on Systems, Processes, Policies and Business Module. Market Connect: - Engage with the Top Customers & Sub Distributors in the Zone, periodically engage with retailers/ whole sellers/ sub-d panels for seeking feedback & suggestions. - Carry out intensive Market visits, branch Visits and interact with employees, Whole sellers, retailers. - Set up a process to Collect feedback on all aspects of the business including product quality, pricing, packing, new product ideas, supply situations, competition activities, schemes, etc. that can be shared back to our principals. - Identify success stories and replicate in other parts of the zone. - Inventory, Receivables & Commercial Policies Management - Regularly monitor inventory pile up in slow & non-moving SKUs, take remedial actions (for e.g. constantly connecting with our principals for liquidation) - Drive collection of receivables in case of exceptions - Ensure proper implementation of Commercial policies for Whole seller, Retailer, sub distributor management. - Constantly engaging with our principals creating and designing the right trade plan. Collection Management: - Will play a pivotal role in managing the collection process. This involves implementing effective credit policies, ensuring timely collection from customers, and minimizing credit risks to maintain a healthy cash flow. People Management: - One of the key responsibilities of the Asst. General Manager sales will be overseeing a team of 150-160 individuals. This includes providing leadership, guidance, and support to the team. AGM will directly manage Sales Manager and Business Managers. Customer Relationship Management: - Maintaining strong and positive relationships with customers is crucial for business success. The Asst. General Manager will be expected to prioritize customer satisfaction, address customer concerns, and proactively build long-term partnerships with clients (principals like P&G, Samsonite etc.) - The role offers a dynamic and challenging opportunity to lead and contribute significantly to the growth and success of the UKV Enterprise business. The Asst. General Manager will need to possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a hands-on approach to effectively manage the diverse responsibilities in this role.
