Job Description :

- Assistant General Manager - Projects will supervise/lead all the projects in a region.

- He will be supported by Project Managers for each of the projects, Strong leader who will drive the project management team & contractors.

- Excellent understanding of the project development.

- Strong contract administrator.

- Will be required to take ownership of development independently.

Ideal Candidate Profile :

- Qualification: B.E. (Civil), with NICMAR certifications and exposure to MEP works. Post-graduate qualification/s will be an advantage.

- Experience: Minimum industry experience of minimum 15 years.

- Should have handled multiple projects, especially industrial/logistics parks.

- Should be conversant with statutory approval aspects

Deliverables :

1. Development of baseline schedule

2. Preparation of development budget

3. Contract management

4. Drawing & design review

5. Carry out extensive value engineering exercise

6. Timely intervention for cost and time deviation

7. Anticipate change in contract scenario and devise mitigation plan

8. Variation quantification

9. Claim handling and management

10. Ensure Project adherence to schedule

11. Ensure Corporate quality standard in construction maintained

12. Ensure Corporate safety in construction maintained

13. Ensure initiation of requisite approvals for the project

14. Take lead in handling local issues and environment management

15. Familiar with review and evaluating contractors, shop drawings, plan schedules, contract Administration, claim management, coordination with PMCs/consultants.

16. Attending the Design Coordination meetings with Consultants and Architects for finalizing DBRs, BOQs and Tender drawings.

17. Coordinating the Contracts Department for finalizing vendors/Award of work by evaluating technical comparisons and queries raised by the Bidders.

18. Decision making in progress review meetings with vendors.

19. Ensuring QA/QC, certification of Bills.

20. Regular monitoring of site progress at site on day to day basis.

21. Attend the customization meetings and check the possibilities of changes requested by the client.

22. Communicate effectively with the contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project.

23. Ensure project documents are complete.

24. Shall be very good at handling large teams.

25. Cooperating with the general manager and assisting him with anything.

26. Nurturing positive working relationships with team.
