We are currently looking for an Astt General Manager-Media Planning and Communications for one of the topmost packaged consumer goods Conglomerate in India. The position is to be based at Mumbai.

Job Profile:
1. Purpose of role:
The Media and Communications Manager is accountable for all Media activity, Sponsorships, and PR across spaces for the India business.
The role will be the key contact with the Corporate Communications team and will work closely with them to ensure a joined-up PR strategy for the company.
2. Key Results/ Accountabilities expected from role
- Accountable for the development and execution of media plans and execution across media (both traditional and digital) and branded content & sponsorships to support Power brands Health KPI delivery across spaces.
- Responsible for Post Buy analysis working with media agency to measure performance against key metrics including ROI.
- Work closely with the corporate communications team in India to define a joined-up PR strategy for marketing & brands of the company.
- Work with the Brand and Communications team and the Marketing Manager for the vertical to develop the media and brand PR calendar for a rolling 24 month period in line with strategy.
- Responsible for supporting space teams for managing Media, content, Brand PR and Sponsorship budgets in India.
- Responsible for the administrative management of content, media, and promotional agencies. Ensures approvals are granted in a timely fashion and that all invoices are processed and accounted for accurately.
- Work with the Digital team to identify and test new channels and engagement activity for Media, Brand PR & Sponsorship activation
- Responsible for all Sponsorship activities in India. This includes managing India Specific Assets such as brand ambassador, sponsorships. It also involves coordinating the activation ensuring maximum utilization of all assets. Works closely with the Global Sponsorship Manager to leverage Global Sponsorship assets such as MotoGP, F1, etc.
- Develop and implement a systematic approach through the embedding of relevant OMS elements and ensuring appropriate risk reviews are undertaken appropriately.
- Understand, embed within the team and fulfill agreed specific Product Quality & Compliance accountabilities which apply to the role, as part of the Auto Marketing role card.
Experience & Expertise
Educational background
- University degree in Marketing or related discipline. A premier B School background is most perferred.
Experience
- Around 10-12 years of experience in Marketing / Media
- Experience of working with Media agencies highly desirable
- Exposure to PR / Sponsorships would be an advantage
- Capable of strategic thinking and thought leadership
- Evidence of effective networking and relationship building skills both internally and externally
- High degree of personal impact
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Job Location: Mumbai
Salary: Best among the industry (Could Range around Rs.32.0-36.0 LPA)
