What your job entails: To handle critical litigation, which includes commercial, civil, criminal, employment, PF, and trademark laws for the company and its subsidiaries.

Who you'll be working with: You will be working closely with the senior stakeholders of Quess and its subsidiaries and the legal team internally and with the courts and government authorities externally.

What you'll do at Quess:

- Good litigation experience o Well versed with court process, (Civil, Criminal, employment) for court cases at various levels.

- We need people from Litigation background especially.

- Regularly review contracts and negotiate with clients.

- Responsible to reply to all legal notices including police and criminal notices.

- Actively be involved in managing potential litigation and ensure that Company interest is protected.

- Provide assistance in responding to queries relating to law.

- Regularly review contracts and negotiate with clients.

- Constantly review and draft agreements.

- Provide support to the legal team as and when required.

- Write various internal legal contracts, negotiating and managing client and vendor contracts and ensuring legal compliance regarding employee safety and mergers and acquisitions.

What we are looking for:

- At least 12-14 years of experience in the legal field, especially litigation/ dispute resolution.

- Sound knowledge in commercial laws.

- Good knowledge of laws and drafting skills.

- Thorough understanding of government tendering process.

- In-depth understanding of how legal issues affect organisations.

- High degree of professional ethics, integrity and gravitas.

- Ability to handle ambiguity.

- Please note that those having experience into Core litigation are only preferred.
