Position Title : Assistant General Manager (HR & Admin)

Compensation Band : Equivalent to Scale III in PSU Bank
Location : Veer Nariman Road, Churchgate, Mumbai
Reporting to: MD & CEO
Scope of work:
- Personnel (entire gamut of HR, HR tools, automation) & Office Services (admin, welfare, statutory compliances, Government liaison)
- Headcount in LIC PFL is 19 as on April 2024, of which, except for Company Secretary, rest 18 are on deputation from LIC Head count (including LIC deputes) is likely to reach 30 by end of Dec 2024
- Over next 4-to-5 years, the headcount is likely to expand to 50-to-100 depending on business & geographic growth
Purpose of the Role:
- Establish and maintain HR function within LIC PFL for managing full-scale HR Lifecycle for Personnel, which, inter alia includes
Manpower planning thru:
- Talent acquisition [recruitment; on-boarding; role induction; etc] thru talent management
- HR operations [attendance; payroll
- HR audits
- Plan and efficiently execute Common Office Services
- Liaison with external agencies [Municipality; Labour Department; Utilities; Police; Government Departments; RTI compliances; etc for providing routine compliance reports & returns on HR]
- Office activities & events
- Administration of medical, health, accident insurance as well as property insurance
- Custodian of legal and contractual documents; establish contracts with legal experts
