Reporting into - CEO

Position Overview:

- The AGM-HR will play a critical role in overseeing all aspects of human resources functions within the company.


- Reporting directly to the CEO. the candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, handling blue collar hiring, compliances and regular warehouse operations which support business objectives and foster a positive work culture.


- This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a deep understanding of HR best practices within the logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop HR strategies aligned with company goals and objectives. Anticipate and address future HR needs to support business growth and expansion plans.

2. Talent Acquisition and Management: Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates for various positions. Develop effective strategies to attract and retain top talent within the logistics industry. Manage employee onboarding and orientation programs.

3. Performance Management: Implement performance evaluation systems to assess employee performance, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development initiatives. Develop and oversee employee training and development programs to enhance skills and capabilities.

4. Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor and mediator for employee relations issues. Address employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary matters in a fair and timely manner. Promote a positive work environment and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

5. Compensation and Benefits: Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain high-caliber employees. Conduct regular benchmarking studies to ensure our compensation packages remain competitive within the industry.

6. HR Policies and Compliance: Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with legal requirements and industry standards. Keep abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations and ensure company compliance.

7. HR Analytics and Reporting: Utilize HR analytics and data-driven insights to monitor HR metrics, identify trends, and make informed decisions. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on HR-related activities, initiatives, and performance indicators.

Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.

- Minimum of 12-15 years of progressive HR experience

- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws.

- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills.

- Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies to support business objectives and drive organizational success.

- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and other relevant HR software applications.
