Job Title: Head - Financial Planning & Analysis

Join a leading listed manufacturing organization known for its strong financial performance, dynamic work culture, and commitment to excellence. We are seeking a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and strategic planning.
Job Purpose:
The Head of FP&A will be responsible for managing and controlling head office accounting, ensuring smooth coordination with factories and branches for accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance. The role demands strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (Annual, Quarterly, Half-Yearly).
- Generate Monthly MIS reports for management decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Accounting & Compliance
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities including AP, AR, GL entries, and payroll processing.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with GAAP / Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
- Coordinate with external and internal auditors for audits and financial reviews.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Finance, Commercial, Sales, Marketing, HR, and Factory teams to ensure financial alignment.
- Facilitate monthly review meetings with the finance team to analyze budget vs actuals and financial performance.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Assist in the annual budgeting and financial planning process.
- Monitor and compare actual financial performance against budgets, identifying variances and corrective actions.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with direct and indirect taxes, including TDS, TCS, PF, ESI, GST.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changing tax laws and regulations.
Team Leadership & Development
- Manage and mentor a team of at least 3+ finance professionals.
- Provide training, performance evaluation, and career development opportunities.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Experience: 7-15 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in the Manufacturing Industry.
- Leadership: Minimum 5 years of experience in a Head Office role, managing a finance team.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and compliance.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, financial software, and MIS reporting tools.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
