Location - Delhi

1. Job Purpose:

- To assist Portfolio Head to plan and execute the yearly audit calendar through effective operational planning and coordination with business's operating teams and audit team members.

- Get insights through effective audit execution; discuss the same with Unit/ Marketing / Corporate Leadership team and get time bound action plans for remediation.

- Assist in creating empowered, high performance team through building trust amongst team members, promoting open work culture, delegation of work, guide and encouraging team members to stretch their boundaries.

2. Major Challenges:

- Given the pan India and overseas spread of business operations and its dynamic nature, the role operates with the following challenges;

1. Provide critical insights to ensure alignment of IA work based on business strategy, dynamic market trends and new or evolving technologies.

2. Provide reasonable assurance to Management and Audit Committee that internal controls are effective and risks are being managed well.

3. Remaining on top of the knowledge curve to match pace of underlying business process changes (few such examples are automations in packing of cement and material handling; constant technology changes in cement production; updated environment laws like compliance of environmental dust and gases norms; new marketing strategies to cope up with enhanced production capacity etc.).

4. Influencing ability and agility to deal with Unit/ Marketing / Corporate leadership teams, who are on much higher level (sr. management role), through intelligent demonstration of strong emotional maturity and technical clarity.
