Assistant General Manager/ Deputy General Manager
As the Assistant General Manager/Deputy General Manager HR for a construction-manufacturing space company, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the human resources function of the organization. You will work closely with senior leaders to ensure effective implementation of HR policies, procedures, and practices aligned with the company's strategic goals. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute HR strategies that attract, develop, and retain a highly skilled and motivated workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
- Identify and address HR challenges and opportunities to support the growth and development of the organization.
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talent for various positions, including engineers, technicians, and support staff.
- Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and selection of candidates.
- Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and educational institutions to ensure a pipeline of qualified candidates.
Performance Management and Employee Development:
- Design and implement performance management systems to set performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Identify training and development needs, and coordinate training programs to enhance employees' skills and knowledge.
- Develop career development plans and succession planning strategies to support employee growth and retention.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture and promote employee satisfaction.
- Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary issues in a fair and consistent manner.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and maintain effective communication channels with employees.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Collaborate with finance and senior management to develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs.
- Conduct market research to ensure the company's compensation packages remain competitive and aligned with industry standards.
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
HR Policy and Compliance:
- Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
- Ensure adherence to applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Stay updated on HR trends and best practices, and recommend improvements to HR policies and practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience 10years in a senior HR management role, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
- Strong understanding of recruitment and talent acquisition strategies.
- Experience in performance management, employee engagement, and training and development.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Professional certifications in HR management (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) are preferred.
