Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of sales representatives, providing coaching and mentorship to achieve team targets.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve assigned sales quotas for your designated region.
- Foster strong relationships with existing customers and identify new business opportunities in the assigned territory.
- Conduct regular customer visits to understand their needs and recommend customized packaging solutions.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from initial contact to negotiation, order closure, and collection of receivables, including related tax forms.
- Oversee new product and customer development initiatives, contributing to the company's growth.
- Leverage your expertise in packaging materials, costs, and industry trends to provide strategic guidance and insightful solutions to customers.
- Navigate international shipping processes, including understanding Inco terms, foreign currencies, and vessel planning (if applicable).
- Analyze market data and competitor activity to identify trends and develop effective sales strategies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the packaging industry or a related field (e.g., manufacturing, converting) with a proven track record of success in sales.
- B.E. degree in Engineering or a related discipline, preferably complemented by an MBA or equivalent management qualification.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve ambitious goals.
- In-depth knowledge of packaging materials, technologies, and costing structures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients at all levels.
- Proficiency in commercial operations, including order processing, pricing strategies, and tax compliance
