AGM/DGM - Finance & Accounting-, (Tamil, Hindi & English speaking - Preferable) for "Salem" location


a) Age around : 35 - 40 (Exception can be made for 1-2 years)

b) Qualification & Experience:

The Candidate preferred should be a -qualified Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant- with at least 5 years' post experience in a Manufacturing or a large Trading Company having at least Rs. 200 Crores of Annual turnover with at least 3 years' experience of heading the Finance & Accounts department.

c) Additional Skills: Should have very good Exposure to Tally / Accounting Software, Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint.

d) Location : Salem

e) Languages Known : Tamil, English and Hindi (Preferable)

Job Description :

AGM / DGM - Finance & Accounts shall be responsible for coordinating with various entities to have overall control of their Finance and Accounts. He must have expertise in managing a wide spectrum of activities relating to Accounting / Control systems / Procedures / Reconciliations / MIS systems.

For some of the entities the Candidate is required to oversee the Accounts & Financials prepared by their respective Accounts Executives and ensure that the same is in order. For Personal businesses of the Promoters, the candidate would be required to personally prepare the financials.

Key Job Responsibilities-:

- Prepare Annual / Monthly budgets for all entities as per targets fixed by the Promoters in consultation with Operating teams.

- Review of Operating & Financial Performances on Daily / Weekly / Monthly basis compared to Budgets and brief the Promoters on areas requiring attention.

- Preparation/Review and verification of Financial Reports (Monthly P&L and Balance Sheet) by 10th of every month.

- Monitoring Statutory Compliances - GST / TDS / Income Tax / PF / ESI / FSSAI / TNPCB / District Authorities / Govt. Agencies

- Banking compliances - Filing of Returns / Stock statements

- Timely filing of Statutory Returns - GST / TDS / IT.

- Timely completion of Statutory Audit of all entities

- Ensuring MCA Secretarial Compliances

- Implementing Cost Statement for each entity and reconciliation with Financials.

- Review of Payables / Receivables / Inventory / Internal Audit Reports and actions thereof.

- Physical verification of Inventory on periodical basis.

- Analysis of Overheads & Fixed Costs for effective utilization of resources

- Identify the cost drivers for cost reduction & allocation basis for apportionment of costs.

- Due diligence of new Business Proposals and advise the Promoters on the feasibility of new projects.

- Vetting of Contracts to ensure the interests of the Organization & compliance to statutory requirements.

- Implementing efficient internal control mechanism across all entities.
