Job Title: Head of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Location: Head Office, New Delhi

Reports to: Vice Chairman and Managing Director (VCMD)

Role Overview:

The Head of CSR will spearhead the development and implementation of a strategic, impactful CSR program that aligns with the company's core values. This role requires an individual with a deep commitment to sustainability, ethical business practices, and community involvement, and who can translate this commitment into tangible outcomes. This individual will work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders, establishing partnerships that amplify the company's positive social, environmental, and economic impact.

Key Responsibilities:

1. CSR Strategy Development and Implementation:

- Design a comprehensive CSR strategy that embodies the company's vision and values, focusing on impactful social, environmental, and economic initiatives.

- Develop annual CSR plans with defined goals, KPIs, and performance metrics that reflect long-term sustainability and community engagement.

- Conduct regular assessments of the CSR program, adjusting initiatives to ensure relevance, scalability, and impact.

2. Program Management and Execution:

- Oversee the planning, budgeting, and execution of all CSR projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are met.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate CSR activities with business objectives, fostering a company-wide culture of responsibility.

- Utilize project management tools to track progress, measure outcomes, and report on CSR performance to leadership.

3. Stakeholder Engagement and Partnership Development

- Build and maintain partnerships with NGOs, governmental bodies, community organizations, and industry peers to enhance the reach and impact of CSR programs.

- Actively engage with local communities to understand their needs and ensure CSR initiatives are relevant, culturally sensitive, and impactful.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, finance, and operations, to align CSR activities with the company's broader objectives.

4. Fundraising, Resource Mobilization, and Advocacy

- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to secure additional resources for CSR initiatives, including grants, sponsorships, and corporate partnerships.

- Represent the company in CSR forums, industry events, and conferences, advocating for the company's CSR initiatives and exploring new opportunities for collaboration.

- Monitor and manage the allocation of funds for CSR activities to ensure maximum impact.

5. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting:

- Establish frameworks for evaluating the success and impact of CSR projects, using data to measure and improve program effectiveness.

- Prepare regular CSR reports for the executive team, stakeholders, and the public, ensuring transparency and alignment with regulatory requirements.

- Implement continuous improvement practices to refine CSR strategies based on impact assessments and stakeholder feedback.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Education: Advanced degree in Social Work, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Public Policy, Business, or a related field.

- Experience: 7-10 years in CSR, sustainability, or a related field with a proven track record of managing successful CSR projects with measurable impact.

- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing teams, budgets, and multi-stakeholder projects.

- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels.

- Collaboration: Proven ability to engage and work effectively with diverse groups, including corporate partners, government agencies, and community organizations.

- Strategic Mindset: Ability to think strategically, with strong analytical skills for assessing project impact and success.
