Designation : Assistant General Manager/Assistant Vice President.
Location : Mumbai / Chennai
Role :
Offering & Business Development, Commercial lending (Band-7/ Band-6)
- Commercial Lending.
- Commercial Banking has 3 offerings, namely Payments & Cash Management, Trade Finance & Commercial lending
- Offering & Business Development resources are required to develop Commercial lending offering & acquire/pitch to clients
- The resources need to have a blend of Subject Matter Expertise on Commercial lending (across Origination & Servicing), as well a flair for Business development
Key result Area :
- Build Offering- Product and Pricing
Responsibilities :
Build Commercial lending offering :
- Define and Build Key Components of the Commercial lending Offering
- Ascertain need for any tie ups
- Investments required to get started
- Identify Input/Process/Output Metrics
- Arrive at Pricing and Commercial Models
Market Dynamics :
- Establish global trends around the Commercial lending Offering
- What are the solutions available and who are the competitors
- Do a bench marking and comparative study of the marked
- Establish Demand
- Define Target Customer base (Top 5-10 names across geographies)
Business Development :
- Acquire customers i.e. get Banks/ Financial Institutions to outsource their Commercial lending Back-office operations (across Origination's & Servicing)
- Get connects with decision maker stakeholders in Commercial lending of target accounts
- Build relationship with the key stakeholders
- Create demand for Commercial lending BPO offerings, by understanding customers requirements/ pain points & structuring solutions to meet the same
- Farm the relationship to cross-sell multiple products to the customer
- KPI will be Revenue targets
Ongoing :
- Support Client visits. Walk through, Visits, presentation (Preparation and Delivery)
- RPF / RFI handling
- News watch
Qualification :
- Post Graduate degree with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Professionals (CA, MBA from recognized institutions) with 10 years of relevant work experience
Competences / Skills :
- Commercial lending expertise - across Origination's (including Financial Spreading) & Servicing
- Experience across Commercial lending sub-products like Equipment finance (lending & leasing), Asset backed finance, Commercial real estate - preferably for US clients
- Experience in Commercial lending platforms & tools like Moody Financial Analyst, FIS - Advanced Commercial Banking System (ACBS- ), etc
- Relevant hands-on Product development & Business development experience
- Customer facing skills
- Ability to deals with Senior Management in Customer's organisation, make presentations, structure solutions & close deals
- Strong oral & written communication skills to communicate with internal and external customers
- Business/ Commercial Acumen & Decision making
