Responsibilities:

Acquisition Origination & Opportunity Assessment:

- Proactively identify and source potential acquisition targets that align with the company's growth strategy.

- Conduct thorough market research and industry analysis to identify acquisition opportunities.

- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential acquisition targets.

- Evaluate potential targets based on financial performance, strategic fit, market position, and other relevant factors.

Transaction Management & Due Diligence:

- Lead the due diligence process for shortlisted acquisition targets, including financial, legal, operational, and market due diligence.

- Work closely with internal teams (Finance, Legal, Operations) to assess potential risks and opportunities associated with each target.

- Develop and manage the transaction timeline and milestones.

Negotiation & Deal Structuring:

- Lead negotiation efforts with target companies and their representatives.

- Structure transaction terms that are favorable to the company, considering valuation, deal structure, and post-acquisition integration plans.

- Oversee the drafting and negotiation of definitive agreements, including purchase agreements and shareholder agreements.

Integration Planning & Post-Merger Integration:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive integration plan to ensure a smooth transition post-acquisition.

- Work collaboratively with the target company's team to manage the integration process.

Reporting & Analysis:

- Prepare detailed reports on acquisition opportunities, due diligence findings, and transaction progress.

- Track and analyze key metrics related to the acquisition process.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 4-6 of experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate development, or investment banking (adjust experience based on your company's needs).

- Proven track record of successfully sourcing, evaluating, and executing M&A transactions.

- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with a deep understanding of valuation methodologies.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Experience in managing complex transactions and navigating the legal intricacies of M&A deals.

- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
