Assistant Controller - Finance

Job Description :

- A solid understanding of financial statement presentation per US GAAP and/or IFRS and accounting principles

- Excellent knowledge on US GAAP and/or IFRS for preparation of memos to support the transaction accounting

- Review of monthly accounting transaction, with attention to details on significant cost and income drivers of operations

- Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to management.

- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans.

- Develop financials trends and projections.

- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.

- Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework to achieve the set goals and objectives.

- Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of timely closure of audits.

- Correspond with various other departments discussing company plans, process and policies for strengthening reporting and agreeing on future paths to be taken.

Requirement :

- Extensive understanding of financial trends

- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

- Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used

- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles, US GAAP will be considered plus

- Working knowledge of statutory legislation and regulations

- Professional qualification of CA with 10+ years of experience with Big4, CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus
