Assistant Director - BMC Enablement - Brand & Marketing Operations IN-

As the Brand & Marketing (B&M) operations leader for finance you will report into the Global BMC Financial Process leader. However you will have some additional reporting lines into the Global BMC B&M Operation leader and the Global BMC B&M leader. You will be responsible for helping managing all financial aspects of BMC programs together with the respective program and budget owner. Your focus will be on cost-containment but also supporting the B&M function and the Global BMC B&M Operation leader in process optimization efforts and establishing best practices across the function.

- In this role, you will be responsible in working together with various senior leaders in the organization and the finance function to help executing on the established financial processes and further mature and enhance the financial process for your function.

- You will work closely with senior leaders of the B&M and BMC organization strengthen process understanding and discipline across B&M, ensuring adherence to financial processes, developing forecasts for the financials and providing insights on your observations in regards of the financial figures.

- You will establish yourself as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for finance in your function. Furthermore you will support the Global BMC B&M Operation leader and Global BMC B&M Leader in optimizing the operations of the Global B&M function and streamline and co-drive the strategic planning process allowing the achievement of key set milestones.

- This includes leading the development of B&M budgets and manages expenses to achieve financial targets.

- In-depth knowledge of BMC organization and (financial) processes

- Excellent financial management skills

- Excellent communication abilities and experience

- Good project management skills and change management skills

- Experience in a cross-border role, successfully managing multiple complex efforts at a global level

- Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, including cross-cultural competence

Skills and attributes for success

- Comfortable working in a matrixed virtual organisation with excellent communication and networking skills - able to effectively manage and influence senior leaders as well as a broad range of stakeholder

- Being able to adjust according to the audience with a focus on getting work accomplished

- Ability to work in a high pace, agile environment

- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, managing multiple priorities effectively

- Ability to synthesize complex information into simple, high impact messages
