Job description:
Business Modellling with global Business Modelling teams, by providing assistance on review and creation of models on various industries and transaction types.
Under the model review offering, the team verifies business models to ensure that they are materially achieving what they are built for. The team supports the company's member firms on detailed code review which covers verifying mathematical and logical accuracy of a model, review of functions, macros, sensitivities, etc. The team also works on creating business models.
Within the ambit of Gobal Shared Services Business Modelling, also works on providing database and reporting solutions using applications such as MS Excel, MS Access, VBA, SQL, etc. A team of professionals are involved in development of automated tools and solutions.
Primary responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Manage a team of 35-50 people
- Measure, monitor and improve client service by guiding team members and driving excellence in service delivery
- Focus teams on the key priorities while managing several medium to large size projects
- Ensure that team members deliver quality service as per client’s needs and priorities
- Ensure smooth service delivery
- Partner with internal and external clients to improve processes
- Work with project leaders to analyze resource needs and gaps across locations, and devise alternative ways forward.
- Assign people to projects based on their skills, career goals and client’s expectations
- Produce assignment budgets and timetables, and manage delivery against them
- Provide team members with accurate and useful guidance in technical areas of high risk and complexity
- Act as a counsellor for team members
- Participate in goal setting, performance appraisal and management of counselees
- Identify L&D requirements of counselees
Competencies / skills:
- Excellent understanding of integration of the financial statements in an MS Excel environment
- Experience in building, updating and quality check of various financial models, including project financing models, revenue and cost models, valuation models and management reporting models
- Expert level knowledge of basic corporate finance principles
- Expert level knowledge and hands on experience with MS Excel and MS Access
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience on VBA (Excel and Access). Exposure to SQL and other database platforms is preferred

Education & Experience:
- Qualified CA/MBA with 10+ years post qualification experience in:
a. Management Consultancy firms.
b. MNC or large Indian companies, preferably within a shared service environment.
