We are hiring for one of the big 4's for Assistant Director-Business Modeling.
Responsibilities
The main objective is to achieve business growth by developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key business decision-makers, informing them of our scope of services and communicating how these services benefit their organizations.
- Lead engagement teams executing Business Modelling services which support key decision makers in developing and executing their transaction, financing or operational decisions
- Perform detailed reviews of financial models, arrive at preliminary conclusions and presents in a report format to clients
- Manage engagements for modeling transactions (mergers and acquisitions); financial feasibility of projects; corporate and debt restructuring; and corporate strategy.
- Identify issues and propose strategies related to the procedures executed.
- Assume a leadership role in report generation and detailed financial modeling.
- Maintain and develop positive, productive, and professional relationships with offices globally
- Supervise, develop and mentor professionals at the Manager/ Staff and Senior level.
- Demonstrate teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members.
- Manage a team of 40-60 business modeling professionals
- Use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of services provided.
- Identify business development opportunities and assist Partners and Senior Managers on proposals and new business opportunities.
- Stay abreast of current business and economic developments relevant to our as well as the client's business.
- Act as a counsellor for team members and Managers
- Participate in goal setting, performance appraisal and management of counselees
- Identify L&D requirements of counselees
Job requirements
To qualify, candidates must have:
- A post graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting (CA) or Business with 12-15 years of related work experience
- A minimum of 8 years of direct experience in Financial Modeling and Valuation or experience in a Corporate Finance role in an organization, preferably in debt raising activities in a finance environment project
- Preferable exposure to VBA
- Advanced knowledge and experience in any of the following sectors will be added advantage - Infrastructure, Oil and Gas, Power and Utilities and Financial Services
- Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, interpersonal, and teaming skills
- Willingness to travel, when necessary.
