Reports to: AVP - Risk Management


Requirements:


- Experience: Candidates Preferred from BFSI.

- Freshers with MBA in Banking and Finance from Good College can also apply

- Certification in Risk Management will an advantage.

- 1- 2 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in business administration, Risk Management, Legal Studies, or a related field:

- Proven experience in business continuity planning, risk management, or related areas


- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.


- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization

- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing projects to completion - Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices in BCM

- Certification in business continuity planning or risk management is a plus

THE ROLE:

- Individual in this role will play a crucial part in designing, maintaining, and updating our Business Continuity Management (BCM) policy and procedures to support the Business Continuity Plan (BCP).


- Individual will be responsible for assessing risks to the business, evaluating alternative approaches for ensuring continuity, and determining the appropriate operating model for business continuity.

- Design, maintain, and update the BCM policy and procedures to support the BCP.

- Evaluate risks to the business and explore alternative approaches for ensuring continuity

- Develop an integrated Business continuity plan and recovery plan with specific objectives tailored to the business

- Assess the impact of projects on Business Continuity and seek funding approval via a business case

- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of management representatives and internal risk management disciplines to execute the BCP and return to normal business performance following a disruption

- Provide training to ensure all employees and critical third-party resources understand their responsibilities during a crisis

- Coordinate crisis management activities with the Crisis Response Team (CRT) and company management, ensuring safety and business continuity

- Liaise with communications and HR for crisis-specific advisory and support information

- Support audits and internal risk reviews related to BCM

- Serve as the single point of contact for updates to the global business continuity team at Cigna

- Conduct BC reviews of critical vendors in collaboration with the respective business functions and oversee remediation plans
