1. Manages day-to-day operations of the General Accounting function including preparation and posting of accruals, cash and journal entries, bank management and periodic reconciliations, preparation and submission of statutory returns, balance sheet schedule preparation and reconciliation etc.

2. Preparing payroll file, disbursing salary payments on cut-off dates and ensuring correct accounting

3. Accurate and timely month end and year-end closing, including validation of the monthly financial reports.

4. Assist in Balance Sheet and P&L review on monthly basis. Revenue Assurance

5. Revenue recognition compliance

6. Detect leakage by analysing each cost and revenue area for billable resources

7. Preparing monthly revenue flash and analysing for variances

8. Match invoices and vendor records and issue checks and record all payment

9. Monitor expenses by processing, verifying and reconciling invoices

10. Preparing monthly utilisation file and MIS reports to submit to the global controller

11. Provide financial information to management by analysing accounting data and preparing reports

12. Summarize current financial status by collating information; preparation of annual financial statement What you should have: including balance sheet, profit and loss statement, cashflow, notes to accounts and other reports and getting this audited.

13. Ensure Compliance with regulatory requirements of various laws viz. Income-Tax, GST, VAT, Social Security Laws, PF/ESI/PT etc.

14. Support in conducting Tax Audit, Statutory Audit and Internal Financial Controls Audit Data Management

15. Ensure the timely updating of financial records on regular basis in accounting software.

16. Ensure documentation compliance with respect to customer MSA/ SOW/ Sales Order and Vendor agreements, purchase order etc.

17. Ensure documentation relating to secretarial compliance and audits Others

18. Creates an innovative and continuous improvement focused environment by seeking out and encouraging ideas for process change.

19. Hands on experience in IT system skill and having good knowledge of MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint and accounting software.

What you should have:

- 3-4 years of experience within accounting and controlling aspects, including experience in a similar role in a fast paced, hyper growth environment for at least 2 years.

- Practical knowledge of IFRS reporting is required.

- Strong background in financial management (systems) with a thorough understanding of financial regulations.

- Be familiar with managing financial processes and risks for extensive field-based operations.

- Exceptional analytical and presentation skills.

- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and can gain credibility with both internal and external stakeholders. Fluency in English is a must.

- Likes being challenged and challenging others. Will speak up.

- Holds high integrity standards. Will do the right thing even if it means disagreeing with others, regardless of their seniority.

- Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA or CPA)
