Role Description:

- This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Audit Manager at Buchprufer Consultants LLP in Kochi.

- The Assistant Audit Manager will be responsible for tasks related to financial statements, financial audits, finance, accounting, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

- Plan, execute, and supervise financial statement audits for a portfolio of clients across various industries.

- Review financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards (Ind AS, IFRS).

- Identify and assess risks and controls related to financial reporting.

- Perform audit procedures, including testing of controls, substantive testing, and analytical procedures.

- Prepare audit work papers and documentation in accordance with auditing standards.

- Analyze financial statements and identify key trends and performance indicators.

- Prepare financial analysis reports and communicate findings to clients.

- Assist clients in improving their internal controls and financial reporting processes.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

- Proactively communicate with clients on audit progress and issues.

- Provide clients with value-added insights and advice.

- Supervise and mentor junior audit staff.

- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure timely completion of audit engagements.

- Review audit work performed by team members.

- Stay updated on the latest accounting standards, auditing pronouncements, and industry best practices.

- Attend professional development courses and seminars to enhance technical skills.

- Contribute to the professional development of junior team members.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5+ years of post-qualification experience in audit.

- Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

- Proven experience in conducting financial statement audits for a variety of clients.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Strong ethical and professional values
