Job Opening with one of big 4's- Assistant Director- Art Director - Kochi

Position Summary : 

- The Creative Consultant acts as a key contributor in operationalizing design strategies for Print, Document and Multimedia work streams within the creative competency. With his/her advanced knowledge as a creative consultant on both Indian and global scenario, he/she would spearhead design and implementation of new and cutting-edge on-brand campaigns, both digital and print.

- Conceptualize and formulate creative themes, layout designs and presentation approach, and specify material details, such as style and size of type, photographs, graphics, animation, video and sound The designer maintains a high level of knowledge on tools and resources used by the firm and constantly evaluates new technologies and tools for adaptation into the team's work stream

Roles and Responsibilities : 

- Guide and develop a team of design/creative professionals

- Develops and designs innovative storyboards and layouts for client deliverable under all work streams

- Leverages global exposure and experience to develop - top of line- and cutting-edge contemporary designs

- Proficient and remains up-to-date with presentation, graphics and digital software tools and equipment required of the position including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, InDesign, Photoshop, Flash, After Effects, Captivate, Acrobat and Adobe Digital Publishing suites

- Maintains awareness of - state-of-the-art- techniques, best practices and developments within the design community

- Relates design work to the client's business needs and manages customer relationships

- Influences clients to choose an effective solution within firm guidelines

- Understanding of firm brand, supports, implements especially consistency and strictly adheres to the quality standards and procedures established by company, including VI and branding guidelines

- Negotiates project deadlines to create timelines, determines project scope to define cost estimates, and schedule changes for client approval

- May be required to travel to work at an actual client site as part of a project team providing design, conceptualization and solutions pertaining to deliverable

- Demonstrates the value of team's work by keeping the client up-to-date, and explaining issues, approaches and solutions (i.e. managing expectations)

- Assemble the right team to achieve business goals in the work stream by creating the right mix of skills and the right conditions

- Help in recruiting, training and developing teams of highly skilled people to craft innovative, value-added deliverable and services to support decision making

- Enable and foster the culture of knowledge sharing among team members

- Responsible for determining project scope to define cost estimates, and schedule changes for client approval

- Excellent team working, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate, and persuade

- Interacts effectively and positively in a fast-paced environment with a diverse staff, customers, colleagues and vendors, demonstrating tact and diplomacy

- May be cross-trained in additional CSG disciplines to provide flexibility during peak times

- Helps team members understand the broader picture of technical, ethical and financial needs

- Assists the business development teams and acts as a pursuit team member for major projects

- Ability to analyse data including budgets, performance numbers etc. essential for running projects independently

- Drive the decision to choose an effective design and deliverable solution within budget requirements

- Analyses customer needs beyond own responsibilities to understand the context of the work in progress

- Lead creative projects and will have associated people management / performance management responsibilities. May or may not be responsible for people outside the scope of a project

- Acts as a counselor / mentor for designers and responsible for team's skills development

- Acts as change agent for new business processes and procedures in the domain.
