Channel Manager - Rural Management
Experience: Minimum experience of at least 6 to 7yrs years in building large scale B2B businesses in Rural India through a network of Franchisees/Agents. Preferred previous experience in Micro-Finance/Rural Banking/Agriculture Value Services/Rural Fintech/ Companies involved in Economic and Social inclusion of Rural Citizens/NGOs
Key accountabilities:
- Set up and build a Franchisee network to promote Savings and Financial Planning amongst Rural Citizens in Rural and Semi-Urban regions of India.
- Build strategic partnerships with Master franchisees and Franchisees to provide an array of financial products and services.
- Extensive research at field level through a questionnaire and analysis and interpretation of data thereafter.
- Sales strategies to improve market share and Identification of business potential areas / districts for expansion of region.
- Offer tailor made products suiting different strata of the bottom of the pyramid.
- Must have a very good understanding of Rural Economy & Rural Commerce.
- Acquisition/ sourcing of new business leads which needs to be continuous and ongoing process.
- Ability to enrol, train & manage team of Master Franchisees and Franchisees.
- Effective communication capability both oral & written in one or more Regional Languages.
- High level of perseverance to ensure achievement of business goals.
- Own the responsibility for meeting overall business target, individually and collectively as a team
- Ensure efficient level of client servicing.
- Implement local area promotional activities
- Ensure timely collection of application, verification of the same, 1st level document-based KYC verification/check and document authentication & adequacy check etc.
- Meeting prospective & existing clients, business partners, other associates and conduct personal discussions on periodic basis
