Job Title: Investment Specialist | Mutual Fund (AMC)
About the Job:
- As an Investment Specialist within our Asset Management Company (AMC), you will play a crucial role in driving sales and market penetration across the region.
- This position requires leveraging existing distributor relationships to achieve product-level targets in both equity and debt funds.
- You will be responsible for conducting informative conference calls and meetings with distributors to provide updates on products, market trends, and industry knowledge.
- Additionally, you will lead regular training and knowledge sessions for internal employees to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills to support our distribution strategies effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Concept Selling and Relationship Management:
- Utilize existing distributor relationships to promote and sell specified products across equity and debt funds.
- Drive concept selling initiatives to increase product awareness and adoption among distributors.
Product Level Target Achievement:
- Own and achieve product-level sales targets within the designated region.
Distributor Engagement:
- Conduct conference calls and meetings with distributors to provide updates on products, market insights, and industry knowledge.
- Collaborate with the sales team to expand distribution reach and optimize product mix based on market demand.
Training and Development:
- Conduct regular training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives for internal employees across the region.
- Ensure that the sales force is well-equipped to effectively promote and sell products to distributors and clients.
Product Development Support:
- Collaborate with the product team to simplify communication strategies for focused products, ensuring clarity and effectiveness in marketing materials.
Market Feedback and Business Enhancement:
- Gather critical on-ground feedback from distributors to enhance business activities and improve market penetration.
- Provide market feedback to the Investments team regarding competitor products, positioning strategies, and sales performance insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the asset management or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of mutual funds, equity, and debt markets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on driving results and achieving targets
