Our core distribution & marketing channels are digital with specific emphasis on direct-to-consumer (own website). Responsibilities: - Lead the finance team and build scalable financial infrastructure for rapid growth. - Develop and implement innovative cost-saving measures to improve profitability. - Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions. - Manage fundraising processes and prepare investor presentations. - Maintain strong relationships with venture capitalists and other investors. - Oversee internal audit and compliance functions. - Stay updated on Indian tax regulations and their impact on the business. - Establish and maintain the company's accounting systems and processes. - Prepare accurate and timely financial statements. - Manage bank accounts, vendor payments, and payroll. - Assist with budgeting and forecasting to support growth strategies. - Liaise with statutory auditors and handle tax filings. - Implement internal controls and ensure compliance with financial regulations. - Work closely with founders on financial planning and decision-making. Requirements: - CA or equivalent Indian accounting qualification. - 5 to 8 years of experience managing revenue in high-growth startups, ideally in e-commerce. - Managerial experience to Lead and guide the team. - Familiarity with managing accounts of an ecommerce business is essential. - Expertise in financial modeling and data analysis. - Strong leadership and communication skills. - Experience with building and managing finance teams in India. - Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software and excel.
