Job Title: Plant HR Manager.

Reporting to: Plant Head and Functional reporting to HR Director SAARC.
Location: Jamnagar.
Job Purpose:
- ASSA ABLOY India is looking for a Plant HR Manager for its manufacturing unit in Jamnagar.
- Be a change agent and enforce the company culture and promote right behavior and talent management.
Job Description:.
- To manage and be accountable for the hygiene and compliance of the organization while driving the industry's best practices by designing, planning, and implementing human resource programs for the plant.
- Build good relationships and keep adequate communication with all levels of employees and manage employee relations, cascade/design/support HR related initiatives.
- Drive/support cultural assimilation initiatives and enhance the sense of belongingness.
- Ensuring global standards in all aspects of the employee lifecycle management and employee experience from Talent acquisition, Induction, Performance Management, Training and Development, and Employee Engagement.
- Oversee and ensure HR operations are done correctly and in a timely including payroll and various other statutory compliances.
- Strong focus on HR legal compliances and handling HR audits to ensure 100% compliance with local legislation and global company policies.
- Liasoning with Government officials like factory inspector, labor department, local body and other Government departments based on the requirement.
- Establish and maintain a presence on the shop floor to keep a grip on the happening on the shop floor.
- Manages & mitigate employee grievances by ensuring the supervisor and managers are creating an open forum for the discussion and resolution of the same.
- Mentor and guide the plant leadership to manage performance and create the pipeline of potential leaders.
- Understand the business strategy and partner with the stakeholders to drive and maintain optimum employee productivity.
- Effectively manage MIS reporting.
- Oversee general administration, hygiene of housekeeping, canteen and the security of the plant.
- Support the Plant Operations head in driving various actions in the area of Employee Health & Safely and the Environment.
Requirements:.
- Minimum 10 years of experience with at least 2 years leading HR operations for a plant/factory.
- Min qualification of Master of Social Work/ MBA in HR, knowledge of Labor Laws.
- Experience working in Matrix organization and influencing across cultures.
- Strong Change Management skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively with leaders and employees across functions at different levels of the organization.
- Displays high standard of work ethics, values, and discipline with deadlines.
- Self-motivated and high level of ownership.
- Good at communication, and interpersonal skills.
- The right candidate will have the ability to work independently with little managerial support and supervision.
