This is a full-time position. This job is a mix of content production, strategy and copywriting and the ideal candidate will seamlessly move between roles with little oversight.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain overall content strategy and standards for voice and tone for loyalty programs
- Establish process for, manage and execute on-going content projects with established templates and editorial calendars
- Produce high-quality short, medium and long-form copy that incorporates best practices for digital use
- Partner with the design team to create interplay between textual and visual elements
- Collaborate with the internal team and actively participate in project briefings
- Track and monitor performance for all digital content projects. Provide direct feedback/analytics with the goal to improve response/revenue
- Proactively bring ideas for content, promotions, video scripts, contests, blogs,social,emails,e-magazine etc.
Qualifications:
- Must be passionate about writing and digital
- Bachelor's degree in advertising, communications, creative writing, related field or equivalent training/experience
- Experience writing against an editorial calendar
- Strong understanding of website technology, social and email marketing including SEO, SEM, Social Media platforms
- Strong technical understanding of web analytics and the ability to pick up new monitoring and reporting tools quickly. Google Analytics experience a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where the demands and directions of the work are constantly changing
- Solid presentation skills, both internally and client-facing
- Experience using standard Web Technology (HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL) a plus
