Role Name : Unit Section Head Outbound Logistics
Role Description To control and monitor all logistics activities related to domestic with cost
effectiveness and timely delivery of shipments to plant as well as customer end
Role Purpose To help Organization in attaining the value for every money spend in Vendor Selection, Transportation and other activities related to delivery of shipment to plant as well as customer. Responsible for developing TMS for Bill Processing, MIS and other related details.

Reporting To Unit Head - Outbound Logistics
Responsibilities Heads: Dispatch
KRA (Key Result Areas):
- To implement SOP's for safety so as to build safe working environment by ensuring adherence to safety norms at all AIS locations.
- To implement SOPs for dispatch processes to meet customer requirement in terms of accurate documentation (ASN/BAR CODES/D-NOTES) and facilitate for required infrastructure like Eddl etc.
- To monitor & control transportation costs against budget at all AIS locations
- To ensure delivery in full on time to all customers (OEM)
- To develop, upgrade and modify logistics processes and systems as per business requirement.
Responsibilities Heads: Transport management
KRA (Key Result Areas):
- To develop and implement and upgrade system for transporter selection and allocation process
- To develop and implement and upgrade system for transporter evaluation and rating criteria and develop transporters in line
- To continuously work on developing new methods/modes in transportation to improve reliability and reduce cost
Responsibilities Heads: Quality Management
Implementation, review & monitoring of TS 16949, ISO 14001, TQM as per company guidelines at all AIS locations.
Responsibilities Heads: Budgeting & control
KRA (Key Result Areas):
- Preparation of annual transportation budgets
- To plan and develop the skills in section members as per roles and responsibility at all AIS locations
Responsibilities Heads: Manpower Development
KRA (Key Result Areas): To build and maintain high morale and motivation in section members through better communication by periodical formal and informal meetings at all AIS locations
