Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve organizational revenue targets within the assigned region.
- Set sales goals for the team and ensure their alignment with overall business objectives.
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Monitor team performance through regular field visits, providing guidance and addressing challenges.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and channel partners to ensure long-term business growth.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Analyze sales data and market feedback to refine strategies and improve product positioning.
- Oversee the execution of promotional activities and campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Manage budgets and ensure cost-effective operations while meeting sales targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as supply chain and marketing to align efforts and streamline operations.
- Prepare and present detailed sales reports to senior leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role and at least 3 years in a managerial position.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and drive a sales team to meet targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing client and partner relationships.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends effectively.
- Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and sales tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
- MBA preferred.
