Position Summary:

- This role ensures implementation of the quality control system in construction projects. The role includes designing quality processes, direct oversight and physical inspection of the work flow process from time to time, thereby ensuring that projects comply with applicable plans, standards, specifications, and construction practices.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Inspect all construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications; Highlight deviations and escalate issues to the Project Manager/Head, as applicable

- Assists in the development of corporate Quality Control Procedures, Standards and Plans as required

- Preparation and control of project quality system management documentation prior to project commencement.

- Verify and document that all materials received for the project are in conformance with the approved submittal

- Undertake periodic audits at the project site and drive compliance with ISO and other quality & safety standards (statutory and organizational): Ensure timely documentation and maintenance of records

- Ensure timely preparation of the required checklists for all the items, hand over lists, snag lists etc.

- Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system. Recommend and implement improvements when required.

- Prepare weekly and monthly quality assurance reports

- Maintain a testing plan and log

- Conduct training for the technical team once in a month

Desired Profile:

- BE / B.Tech (Civil) with 10-12 years of experience with atleast 6-8 years of experience in the Real Estate industry

- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, techniques and engineering standards

- Knowledge of regulatory framework applicable to projects

Strong personal attributes in a candidate:

- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

- Ability to work with people across all levels in the company

- Excellent problem/conflict resolution skills

- Ability to multi-task, work in a fast paced environment on multiple projects

- Strong attention for detail; methodical

- Good communication skill
