Our products include award-winning Website Solutions that are designed to increase online sales and generate leads, and Electronic Parts Lookup Solutions that are designed to increase in-store sales and service revenue.   Role : Engineering Manager   Years of relevant experience : 10 to 16 years   Job location : Gurgaon   Impact :   You will be a key resource for ARI's new product development support center being setup in Gurgaon, India.   As a Lead you will be responsible for working closely with ARI's engineering and production teams in the US.   You will be working on cutting edge technology including SaaS based products of ARI. You are expected to be a hands-on technical resource who in addition to development activities will be responsible for the initial set-up of the software engineering team and then driving delivery.   This role requires a strong balance between software development in an Agile Scrum environment; managerial skills to lead a team of highly skilled software engineers; and coordination with engineering & product management teams in the US.   This is an exciting career opportunity to have a direct impact on the design and development of the ARI's rapidly expanding products and solutions.   Responsibilities :   Technical :   - Hands-on Lead who has experience of designing, developing software products in a cross cultural environment.   - Understand software architecture and design patterns to build high quality products and solutions.   - Work in Visual Studio to write application code using C#, Javascript, CSS and HTML.   - Use SQL Server Management Studio to work with MS SQL Server.   - Develop DML and DDL to update databases.   - Develop third party integrations through REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and XML outputs.   - Write code using the ASP.NET MVC framework.   - Debug existing applications.   - Write comprehensive unit tests to prove code works as designed.   - Profile code and database to measure and improve application performance.   - Research new technologies and incorporate them into our applications.   - Write and maintain documentation supporting the code and application.   - Create, maintain, and use automated build tools.   - Write and maintain development documentation including standard operating procedures and work instructions.   Functional :   - Lead team in day-to-day activities by supporting them in all aspects of delivery, making architecture decisions, determining task assignments, and setting expectations with stakeholders regarding schedules.   - Will have to work schedules that ensure greater overlap with US business hours.   - Develop detailed deliverables that effectively communicate designs and product requirements.   - Maintain expert-level knowledge of competitive products and experiences.   - Effectively communicate concepts with authority and conviction.   - Research and resolve issues using appropriate resources.   - Report status and metrics to management.   Qualifications & Skills required :   - Engineering (BE or B.Tech or MCA) degree from a reputed College / University.   - Relevant experience of 10 to 15 years; of which at least 4 years managing teams of at least 5 and above.   - Good knowledge in SaaS model, enterprise/complex applications.   - Hands-on technical resource with experience in:   - Designing and developing mission critical products.   - Agile Scrum methodology.   - Visual Studio with excellent coding experience in C#, Javascript, CSS and HTML.   - MS SQL Server.   - Developing third party integration's through REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and XML outputs.   - Writing code using the ASP.NET MVC framework.   - Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse and distributed product teams.   - Able to work directly with overseas colleagues and stakeholders.
