They are a well known brand with over two decades of experience in welding and plasma technology market in India. Their products are being used in industries like shipbuilding, petrochemical, construction, transport, offshore energy, repair and maintenance.Our Client offers one stop engineering solutions as they are empowered with in-house research and development facilities that help them in keeping pace with changing market trends.They are continuously engaged in expanding dealer network and branches and is also the authorized distributor for equipments manufactured by a French innovative orbital solutions company .
As the Area Sales Manager, your key responsibilities include :
- Developing and maintaining prospect and customer list based on strategic marketing data and other sources
- Formulating strategy for achieving sales targets(volume and value targets) for Arc Welding and Inverter Welding Technology
- Actively pursuing and acquiring new and competitive accounts with emphasis on obtaining product supply agreements
- Establishing new direct customers (non-distributors, integrators) within the responsible area
- Managing and growing existing customer relationships
- Promoting the company's business standards within the welding industry
- Conducting technical meetings and helping customers select the appropriate services
- Gathering customer requirements for input into the product development process
- Knowledge of and monitoring customer inventory to ensure requirements and commitments are matched
- Ensuring satisfaction of customer needs by assisting in part design, Process development, Training and after sales Support/Service
- Ensuring follow through on all customer inquiries and sales leads in person or through Sales personnel
- Properly maintaining records of sales calls, applications, purchase orders, customer organizations and business conditions throughout the area/territory
- Coordinating and attending trade fairs and exhibitions within the area and participating in Welding Industry events
Candidate Profile:
- Demonstrable experience of 4 - 7 years in selling Arc Welding/Inverter Welding Technology
- Good networking with customers and dealers in that market is a great add on
- Analytical and having strong business acumen
- Demonstrated ability to manage and close high-level business in an disruptive sales environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Flexible for 6 day a week working structure
