JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB PURPOSE:
- Setup and manage the entire area sales process and infrastructure for the SME lending vertical of the company
- Build area sales strategy in line with industry best practices meeting the broad objective of company policy
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Responsible for conceptualizing and implementing strategic plan to steer profitability & productivity of the area
- Conduct regular and detailed business reviews with SMs & business executives to ensure business strategies are executed as per plan
- Responsible for periodic achievement of the customer acquisition & revenue targets
- Coordinate with credit team for solving the queries of Login, Sanctioning & Disbursement
- To coordinate with the product management and marketing team, for effective implementation of strategies for customer acquisition at local level
- Manage and support the effective deployment of team of sales professionals with respect to the geographical area, explore new markets and allocate resources to most profitable opportunities
- Ensure implementation of promotional plans & contests and suggesting new and innovating promotion plan for the area of work
- Recruit and retain high performers
- Ensure that goals, development plan discussions, ongoing coaching and feedback are done on time and in an effective manner
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Educational Qualifications - Graduate/Post-graduate in any field
Functional Skills - Business Development, Team Management, Negotiation, Relationship Management, Networking, Selling Skills, Sales Operations, Conflict Resolution
Relevant and total years of Experience - 6-8 years in finance industry in managing large area sales team of a top tier bank/ NBFC/ fintechs in India.
