Job Description:
- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team in the renewable energy sector.
- As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth within your designated region, with a specific focus on the solar PV industry.
- Your primary objective will be to develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed targets, while also fostering strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share in the solar PV industry.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory, including lead generation, prospecting, and networking.
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to support sales initiatives and drive business growth.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to senior management, highlighting performance metrics and areas for improvement.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to sales representatives and distributors within the region to optimize their performance and enhance overall team effectiveness.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-3years of proven exp in sales, with a demonstrated track record of success in the solar PV industry.
- Strong understanding of solar energy technologies, products, and services, as well as knowledge of relevant market dynamics and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and colleagues.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a results-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) for sales tracking and reporting purposes.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory as needed.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
