They are looking for an Area Sales Manager to handle operations and grow the business in Andhra Pradesh.
Description
The chosen candidate would be reporting into the regional head and be responsible for the following:
- Primary and secondary target achievement of the area
- Monthly sales planning and forecasting
- Channel Management
- Month wise business forecasting and bench-marking vis- -vis previous year
- Alignment with the Annual Operating Plan
- Competition tracking & making proactive plans to counter the new entrants
- Allocate manpower in different areas depending upon the individual capabilities
- Mentor, motivate and guide team members ensuring sales - business generation and achieving budgeted figures, and activity ratio on monthly basis
- Training subordinates to develop requisite skills; conducting training on products, selling skills, lead prospecting and closing skills
Profile
- The successful applicant should be a graduate from a good b-school, having at least 5 years of experience in sales in the FMCG space (Personal Care preferred) and an overall understanding of the different segments and channels in India.
- He/she should have extensive and relevant work experience in Andhra Pradesh as a location.
- He/she should have an analytic approach towards understanding and solving problems and have a proven experience in driving and leveraging people skills and motivations.
