Job Title: Area Sales Manager
Department/Group: Sales
Position Reports to - Regional Manager
Job Purpose:
This position will overlook the sales contribution through the channel in the given area.
Responsibility:
- Delivering Sales Volume Primary and Secondary target assigned to the Area
- Meeting Infrastructure targets
- Meeting Distribution expansion targets.
- Meeting New Product launch targets.
- People Management Maintaining a conducive professional relationship with all business partners.
- Recruiting, Managing and Developing Team Keeping them motivated, providing guidance, monitoring performance.
- Putting in place good operations and excelling in Operational excellence.
- Driving Local sales promotion schemes, Visibility campaigns and new product launches.
- Monitoring Budgets and utilizing the same to optimum level.
- Co-ordinating with depot team to ensure proper claim management, Order processing.
- Analyzing competition scenario & reporting the same. MIS reporting
- Complete resolution of all issues in the territory and ensuring smooth operations.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Candidates with FMCG industry exposure at an Area level
- Must have handled a team of Sales officers and front-line sales representatives.
- Must have experience in consistently excelling Sales, Infra and Distribution related Metrics.
Education Qualification:
MBA (Tier 1 or 2 Bschools ONLY) IIM A, IIM B, IIM C, IIM Indore, IIM K, SP Jain, MDI Gurgaon, NMIMS Mumbai, SIBM Pune, IMT Ghaziabad, TAPMI, MICA, XLRI, XIMB, IIFT, ISB Hyderabad, BIM Trichy, IRMA, IIM Ranchi, IIM Udaipur, and Other Tier 2 IIMs with experience: 2 years of experience as a manager (ASM) with exposure to regional markets
Fluency in English & local language MANDATORY.
