The Area Sales Manager plays a crucial role in driving the sales and business development activities within a designated geographical area. The primary responsibility is to lead a team of sales professionals, develop and implement strategic sales plans, and achieve revenue targets. The Area Sales Manager will also be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, builders, real estate agents, and other business partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

Customer Relationship Management:

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure the team is on track to meet targets.

- Prepare and present regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and achievements.

- Implement corrective actions when necessary to address performance gaps.

Compliance and Risk Management:

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

- Implement risk management practices to mitigate potential issues.

- Stay informed about changes in the housing finance industry and adjust strategies accordingly.

Training and Development:

- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team.

- Keep the team updated on product knowledge, market trends, and industry best practices.

Collaboration:

- Collaborate with other departments, such as credit, operations, and marketing, to streamline processes and enhance overall customer experience.
