- The company is a global leader in vision care, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our Contact Lens Division.

- As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and building strong relationships within your assigned geographical area.

Responsibilities.

- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed regional sales targets for contact lens products.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, fostering growth in both existing and untapped markets.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, eye care professionals, and distributors to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

- Lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and support to maximize their potential.

- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement effective promotional campaigns and product launches in the region.

- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to provide insightful feedback and adapt strategies accordingly.

- Prepare and analyze sales reports, providing regular updates to senior management on performance, market conditions, and opportunities for improvement.

- Conduct regular training sessions for the sales team to enhance product knowledge and selling skills.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities.

- Represent company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the brand and establish a strong presence in the market.

Qualifications:

- Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

- Proven track record of successful sales management and achieving sales targets in the healthcare or medical device industry.

- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- In-depth knowledge of the ophthalmic or eyecare industry and understanding of contact lens products is preferred.

- Ability to travel within the assigned region as needed.
